Educational History

The University of Memphis, 2002 to current. 

Attending for a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education and certification to teach K-6th grades.  Primary goal:  Teach grades 3rd to 5th computer education skills. 

Have worked with H. O. S. T. S. (Help One Student To Succeed) Volunteer Program for reading and mathematics literacy for grades 3 - 5 two semesters, fall 2002 and spring 2003.


Dyersburg State Community College, 2000 to 2003. 

Received Associate of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 2002.  Finished elective courses from DSCC in Fall 2003. 

Alumni member, former webmaster and VP Scholarship of the Alpha Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa.  Served as Vice President of Scholarship for 2001-2002.  Created the PTK chapter website: and the PTK Tennessee Regional Webpage,

Assisted with the Business Expo in 1998.  Webpage building hobby began here.  Assisted in shutting down and maintenance of all computers after class hours.


Ripley High School,  1993 to 1997, graduated rank # 27 in the class with diploma and majored in Business Technology.  #1 Club.

Occupational History

Computer Lab Assistant at Dyersburg State Community College, Fall 2001 to Spring 2002.  Maintained the functioning of printers, computers, assist instructors and students during class time and worked with students in open-lab time.  Cleaned monitors.

Lauderdale County School System at Lauderdale Middle School    Lauderdale Middle School Online

Educational Assistant in the Special Education Department from 1999-2000.  Maintained student grades, functioning of the computer, and assisted in teaching exceptional students math, reading, science, social studies, and health skills.  Assisted teacher.  Current status:  Substitute teacher for both Ripley Elementary and Lauderdale Middle School on call during semester breaks.

Worked at an Accents Gift Shop 1999-2000.  The owner has retired and discontinued china, antiques, and figurines. I placed china, antiques, and figurines online at EBay Online Auctioning; prior to exiting the position, I trained a new assistant; then began to attend school full time.

Now Me

I like to watch action, sci-fi, horror, suspense, thriller, drama, romance, and comedy movies. I like to rent movies from Movie Gallery and Netflix or Carmike Cinemas to see movies on the big screen with digital sound. Collecting movies, some web page designing, and leisure activities are hobbies of mine.

I have a little dog, a miniature Doberman pinscher (Picture) named Lucky. Another pet I have is a Cocketail (Picture). Her name is BJ. My favorite colors are Red and Blue; but I do like the other colors. I like rock, techno, and some country music. I listen to FM100 Memphis, TN, 101.9 FM Jonesboro, Arkansas, and WASL 100, Dyersburg, TN. A vehicle, which was mine and my mom drives now, is the 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier and I drive a 2001 Ford Focus. My aunt owns her vehicle, a Kia Sportage.
